Approximately 3 months before your wedding, preparations begin for your liturgy and rehearsal.
An email, requesting information will be sent to you when your initial paperwork is complete and your marriage preparation process has started. Take your time to read, review, discern and make your selection to accompany you on your journey into your new life.
All documents will be due on the 15th of the month TWO MONTHS BEFORE your wedding (or before)
There are several pieces to create the perfect wedding liturgy. Our Sacrament Coordinator and Wedding Staff will walk with you as you complete these important items for your special day:
Select your readings through the following website: https://www.foryourmarriage.org/readings/ What is not on the website will be emailed to you to make your selections.
You will select :
Old Testament reading (you will need to select a lector)
Responsorial Psalm – will be sung by our Cantor
New Testament reading ( you will need to select a lector)
Gospel Acclamation– will be sung by our Cantor)
Gospel - will be proclaimed by the officiant
General Intercessions
(these are known by many names) – you may also want a reader for this, but not required
Wedding Party: Are not only attending to witness and share in your day, they are sharing in the responsibliity of your day and are happy to assist you in your special day.

LIVESTREAM – Saint Mary Cathedral offers Livestreaming for your wedding. Additional fees may apply.
Let us know if you are interested as soon as you decide - you will receive a USB copy of your wedding before you leave.
Affidavits: each person is responsible for having two affidavits completed, notarized and return the ORIGINAL for your marriage packet; the document is also attached.
Couples who are scheduled to marry at the Cathedarl, are eligible to attend a tour of the campus which gives an overview of the wedding rehearsal, wedding ceremony and answer any questions you may have. Tours are held from 6-7pm.
