Welcome to Saint Mary Cathedral!
Our vision is to be a shining light of Catholic thought and action, lived out through our parish and school, as an example to all in the Diocese of Austin and the State of Texas, exhibiting integrity in all that we do as we serve Jesus Christ.
The Cathedral relies on parishioner and visitor contributions to support its ministries and maintain the facilites. If you would like to make a donation towards our Restore Renew Rejoice campaign, please take the time to also fill out a pledge card. Thanks and God bless!

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in which 1.5 million people perished and millions more were displaced and subjected to deportation, torture, starvation and massacre. In remembrance of this atrocity, Pope Francis will celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica on April 12, 2015. Likewise, in the Diocese of Austin, Bishop Joe Vásquez celebrated the 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Cathedral in Austin on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Bells will be tolled in memory of those who perished and were displaced on April 23, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. Central-Standard Time.
