Welcome
Welcome to Saint Mary Cathedral! Standing in the midst of downtown Austin, the Cathedral serves the total diocese of over 450,000 Catholics. As the heart of all 125 parish churches and communities, it is the place where Bishop Gregory Aymond celebrates the major Liturgies of the year with clergy, religious and laity. Mission: The parish community of Saint Mary Cathedral, grounded in the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ Incarnate, animated by the Holy Spirit in the mission of building the Kingdom of God on earth and guided by the tenets of the Catholic Church, is called, through faith in action, to be an evangelizing light for society, beckoning the world to the Body of Christ. |
